FUJI Cup DUNE 350 ml

The FUJI cup from the DUNE collection was created for the kind of moments you actually want to feel – with coffee, tea, herbal infusions, wine or cocktails. It’s a vessel made to live in your hands and slow the pace down for a while.

The proportions of FUJI were refined so that it sits comfortably in the hand and invites a small gesture: gently swirling the liquid to bring the layers together and release more aroma before the first sip. The 7 cm opening gives enough space to drink and work with the fragrance, while the 350 ml capacity makes it a generous companion for pour-over coffee, a larger tea or a warming infusion – those times when you want to stay with one cup a bit longer.

The shape of FUJI grew out of a fascination with whisky tumblers – their weight, the way you can swirl the drink and concentrate the aroma – but gradually moved closer to Japanese tea bowls held in both hands. It echoes the idea of ichigo ichie: each moment at the table happens only once. Before the drink reaches your lips, you feel it first through warmth and weight in your palms.

Each FUJI DUNE cup carries a soft band of colour that wraps around the form like a horizon line – sometimes closer to a wave, sometimes to a dune, sometimes to an abstract landscape. The meeting of tones is slightly different in every piece, so no two cups ever look exactly the same, even if they share the same silhouette. You get an individual object, rooted in one coherent collection.
