There are two groups available, with a maximum of 8 participants per group.

MUAS: The Magic of Color – Glazing & Underglaze Painting Workshops

These workshops are ideal for those who already have some basic experience with ceramics and would like to deepen their skills in the glazing process. However, if you are a beginner and simply not interested in hand-building, preferring instead to play with color, these workshops will definitely satisfy your creative imagination.

You will decorate ready-made ceramic forms prepared by us using glazing and underglaze painting techniques. This is an excellent opportunity to give finished pieces a unique character and refined finish, while experimenting with techniques that may be entirely new to you.

The workshops are conducted in Polish. They take place in our studio located in Warsaw’s Mokotów district, at Dolna 30a—the very space where we create our ceramics every day. By taking part, you will have the chance to see our studio “behind the scenes.”

Workshop Program

Glazing (1.5 hours)
You will learn how to apply glazes precisely, choose colors, and select techniques to achieve your desired effects on ceramic pieces. We will show how different glazing methods influence the final appearance of ceramics, creating varied textures and visual effects.

Underglaze Painting (1.5 hours)
Discover the art of underglaze painting by creating unique patterns and compositions on your pieces. This technique allows for subtle, precise decoration that gains depth and intensity after firing.

Who Is It For?

The workshops are dedicated to participants who already have basic ceramic skills or who have taken part in our previous hand-building workshops. They are ideal for those who want to develop their own style and give their future works a personal character.

If you are a beginner—don’t worry. We will guide you through the entire process. You will not feel left behind, and you will have a great time doing it.
